Victor Benito galleon
Victor Benito Galeone (born September 13, 1935 in Philadelphia ) is Old Bishop of Saint Augustine ( Florida , United States ).
Life
Victor Benito Galeone was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on December 18, 1960 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Saint Augustine on June 26, 2001 . The Archbishop of Miami , John Clement Favalora , ordained him episcopal on August 21 of the same year; Co- consecrators were William Francis Malooly , Bishop of Wilmington , and John Joseph Snyder , Bishop Emeritus of Saint Augustine.
On April 27, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
