Victor Kiam
Victor Kiam (born December 7, 1926 in New Orleans , Louisiana , † May 27, 2001 in Stamford , Connecticut ) was an American entrepreneur and self-made millionaire.
Life
Kiam's parents divorced early and he grew up mostly with his grandparents in New Orleans. He enjoyed a first class education and attended Yale University , the Sorbonne in Paris and finally the Harvard Business School .
After initial success in business, he was able to take over Remington Products in 1979 and quickly led the manufacturer of electric shavers to great success.
