Victor Milner

Victor Milner (born December 15, 1893 in New York City , † October 29, 1972 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American cameraman .

Victor Milner began his career as a cameraman in 1917 and was one of the greats of his guild, especially in the 1930s. In a total of nine Oscar nominations for his work, he received the award for Cleopatra in 1935 . From 1937 to 1939 he was also President of the American Society of Cinematographers , of which he was one of the founders in 1919. In 1953 he made his last appearance with his work on Seconds of Fear . In total he was involved in more than 130 productions.
