Victoria Duffield (born January 3, 1995 in Abbotsford , British Columbia ) is a Canadian singer , actress and dancer .

Career

Victoria Duffield is from Abbotsford in the province of British Columbia . The older of her two brothers, Burkely Duffield , is also an actor. She was a 2010 contestant on the third season of the talent show Next Star on the Canadian youth broadcaster YTVs and made it to the top 6. Duffield is currently singing for Warner Music Canada. Her debut single Shut Up and Dance was released in September 2011 and went platinum in Canada. The album of the same name reached twelfth place on the Canadian charts. The third single from this, Break My Heart , was awarded gold.

Victoria Dunffield is a classically trained pianist and professional dancer in the fields of jazz, hip hop, tap dance, and ballet. She also made several guest appearances on Canadian television shows, including the youth sitcom Alone Among Guys .

On June 3, 2014, she released her second album called Accelerate . Duffield said of the album: “I was able to grapple with the experiences I had myself. For me, Accelerate is about to move forward , and processing all the emotions in my head in the studio helped me. ”The lead single More Than Friends reached number 49 on the Canadian charts.
