The Victoria River is a river in Gippsland in the east of the Australian state of Victoria .

It rises east of Bull Plain and Mount Hotham in the Australian Alps and flows east. Around three kilometers west of the Cobungra settlement , the river crosses under the Great Alpine Road and finally flows into the Cobungra River southwest of the Innesfail settlement .
