Cattle drift
The Viehtrift (also cattle drift , Kuhtrift or Triftweg ) is a term used in agriculture and describes a way of the cattle drive , that is to drive the cattle between barn and pasture is used or from a pasture to another.
In some towns and cities, street names are a reminder of this agricultural past. Variants of this, such as Schaftrift or Triftstraßen, are available in other locations. Field names have been preserved elsewhere.
