Vigdis Hårsaker (born July 16, 1981 ) is a former Norwegian handball player who last played for the Norwegian first division club Byåsen IL .
Career
In the club
Hårsaker started playing handball at Sjetne IL and later moved to Byåsen IL. After she was then active for the French club Toulon VAR HB ASCM, she returned to Byåsen. After Hårsaker won the top scorer's crown in the Norwegian elite series with 200 goals in the 2002/03 season, she moved to Larvik HK . With Larvik, she won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2005 . In the same year, the left-hander moved again to Byåsen IL. In 2007 Hårsaker stood with Byåsen in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, but failed here at the Romanian club CS Râmnicu Vâlcea. In the 2009/10 season, in addition to her playing activities, she was also assistant coach at Byåsen. Then she ended her career. After Byåsen IL had to do without several players due to injury in January 2014, she was offered another contract, but the working mother declined due to lack of time.
In the national team
Hårsaker completed 133 games for the Norwegian team. With the Norwegian selection, she won the European Championship in 2004 . In 2001 and 2007 she became vice world champion.
