Vila Vila (also: Vila Vila "A" ) is a town in the Oruro department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Vila Vila is the third largest town in the canton of Caracollo in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Caracollo in the province of Cercado and is located at an altitude of 3883  m . To the northwest of Vila Vila extends the wide plain of the Bolivian highlands, and to the east of the place rises the Serranía de Sicasica , a north-south oriented mountain range between La Paz and Cochabamba , which rises to 4500 m.
