from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The villa at Hoflößnitzstraße 6 is located in the Serkowitz district on the road border with Oberlößnitz in the Saxon city of Radebeul . The property belonged to the master builder Moritz Ziller in 1865 , who built today's villa there and sold it to a new owner during the construction period. The villa, which is part of a larger building complex in a park-like garden, faces a triangular green square, the Hörningplatz , on which the sculpture “Flora with Putto” by Burkhart Ebe stands.

description

The villa , which is located some distance from the street and is now a listed building , was designed by Moritz Ziller in the style of a Roman country house with a simple late Classicist structure, consisting of a large main building on the right, a smaller auxiliary building and a connecting building with a flight of stairs and the entrance. This was originally planned as an open pillar hall, but is now massively closed. The building structure standing on a plaster base has a flat, sloped roof .

The five-axis main building is slightly raised by a knee stick compared to the auxiliary building . The three middle openings on the upper floor of the main house, consisting of windows with a central balcony door, are summarized by pilasters and are closed off by a horizontal roof. The balcony door leads to a cantilevered balcony on sandstone consoles , the balcony is closed by an ornate iron grille. In the right side view there is a massive, two-storey veranda in front of this is a metal standing balcony.

The windows and doors are framed by sandstone walls, and some have horizontal roofs above them. The simple, a color different restrained smooth plaster is a horizontal Geschossgesims divided, the knee floor of the house is indicated by a cleaning tape.

The fencing is done by wooden fence fields between exposed concrete pillars that stand on a high base band.

history

In August 1865, the master builder Moritz Ziller applied for a house to be built on his own lot, which was approved by the Dresden Royal Court Office. At the time of the building inspection in March 1867, the property already had a new owner.

In 1907, the rear extension and the veranda in the right side view were converted according to a design by the Radebeul architect Johannes Heinsius .

After 1990 outbuildings were built in the south and northeast. In 1998 the end of the tower in the east was changed to a curved hipped roof.
