Villa Patarani is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Villa Patarani is the second largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Patacamaya in the province of Aroma and is located at an altitude of 3858 m west of the city of Patacamaya .

Villa Patarani is located on the Bolivian plateau between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. The region has a distinctive time-of-day climate in which the mean temperature fluctuations during the day are more pronounced than during the seasons.
