Vinamilk is the largest food company in Vietnam and, according to the UNDP report from 2007, 15th among Vietnamese companies. Vinamilk has around 3,000 employees in eight domestic plants, as well as a wide range of products with over 200 milk raw materials and milk products, juices and beers. Product brands include VFresh, Dielac and Yomilk. Vinamilk has a market share of 75 percent in dairy products and has a dense sales network of representatives and agencies in all Vietnamese provinces. Vinamilk products are exported to various countries in Southeast Asia , Australia , the United States , France , Canada , Poland , Germany and the Middle East such as Iraq .

history

The company was founded in 1976 under the name Southern Coffee-Dairy Company as a dairy under the Department of Agriculture. Since the conversion to a stock corporation in 2003, the full name of the former state-owned company Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (VINAMILK) and the company slogan are International quality, Vinamilk quality . Two examples of joint ventures : In 2005 , the Campina Joint Venture Company was founded with Campina BV ( Netherlands ), now FrieslandCampina . In the same year, SABMiller Asia BV became a $ 45 million venture called SABMiller Vietnam Joint Venture Company Ltd. to build a brewery in the Bình Dương province .

The IPO took place in 2006 with the listing of the paper on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) . The share code is VNM, in Germany it is not tradable. A fund of Deutsche Bank has a stake of almost 20 percent of Vinamilk. With the opening of the An Khang Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City in 2006 , a change to a conglomerate can be seen.
