Vinné (German Winney ) is a district of the Czech community Ploskovice , from which it is 3 km north, in the Okres Litoměřice of the Ústí region . The street village, which now has around 20 houses, is located around 55 km northwest of Prague in the Bohemian Central Mountains and is only a few kilometers from the old bishopric of Litoměřice .
history
It was first mentioned in a document in 993. Boleslav II donated what was then known as Lenzel (V Lencich) to the Benedictines of Breunau . In 1787 there were 27 houses in the village, in 1930 there were 21 houses with 103 inhabitants (98 Germans, 5 Czechs). In 1991 the place had 23 residents. In 2001 the village consisted of 12 houses in which 19 people lived.
The name Winney is derived from wine. In addition to wine , which used to be grown here, there was also hops and fruit growing.
