The virusesque is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises in the foothills of the Cevennes , in the municipality of Sauclières , first drains in a southerly direction on the eastern border of the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park , then swings to the east and, after 25 kilometers, flows into the Vis as a right tributary in the municipality of Vissec . On its way, the Virusque crosses the Aveyron and Gard departments and, as a border river in the estuary, also touches the neighboring Hérault department . Here the Virenque forms a dry valley , as most of the year the water flows underground.
