Virgílio de Pauli

Virgílio de Pauli (born May 28, 1923 in Araraquara , São Paulo , Brazil ; † February 21, 1999 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Campo Mourão .

Life

Virgílio de Pauli received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of São Carlos on December 8, 1950 through Bishop Ruy Serra .

Pope Pius XII appointed him on May 8, 1981 Bishop of Campo Mourão . The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Carmine Rocco , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Ruy Serra, Bishop of São Carlos, and his coadjutor Constantino Amstalden .
