Virginia Christine , actually Virginia Christine Kraft (born March 5, 1920 in Stanton , Iowa , † July 24, 1996 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film actress .

Life

Virginia Christine studied dance under the choreographer Maria Bekefi in New York City and was also a trained pianist and soprano . Through her husband (1940), the German-born actor Fritz Feld ( Fritz Feilchenfeld ; 1900-1993), she came to film. Virginia Christine achieved lasting fame in the 1960s and 1970s as an advertising figure for the Folgers Group with her “Mrs. Olson Campaign “, she is considered one of the most successful figures in American television advertising history.

Virginia Christine died of heart failure in their Los Angeles home in 1996 and was buried next to her husband.
