Havok Vision Game Engine (known as Vision is) a cross-platform 3D - game engine , which of Trinigy planned and Havok was developed and published of 2003. Vision is available for Microsoft Windows ( DirectX 9, DirectX 10, DirectX 11), Xbox 360 , PlayStation 3 , Nintendo Wii and Wii U . IOS , Android and PlayStation Vita are supported as mobile platforms . The common Internet browsers such asMozilla Firefox , Google Chrome , Opera and Internet Explorer supported.

history

The software was originally developed by Vulpine in Reutlingen . After their bankruptcy, former employees founded Trinigy and continued work on the engine. In 2011, Trinigy was taken over by Havok. Vision Engine 8 was already released before the Game Developers Conference 2010. Developments committed in 2011. After that, support was discontinued.

Sales model

Havok offers both the one-time purchase of all licenses and one license per title or platform. All licenses include full support and regular updates. WebVision was free for any studio that was already using Vision 8.
