Vivien Marx
Vivien Marx (* in New York , NY ) is a German - American science journalist .
Vivien Marx studied biology and computer science in the USA and then moved to Germany. She wrote her first popular scientific work in the early 1990s, including for the hr2 computer magazine Chippie . In addition to radio ( hr , NDR , Deutschlandfunk ) she also wrote for print media (including FAZ , Der Spiegel ) and worked as an editor for ZDF / arte .
After moving from Frankfurt am Main to New York, she mainly worked for English-language media such as Newsweek / The Daily Beast , New Scientist , The Lancet , Nature and Science . Since 2012 she has been a permanent freelancer at Nature Methods , where she works as a technology editor.
Vivien Marx was a fellow at Columbia University from 2010 to 2011 .
