Vjekoslav Tomić (born July 19, 1983 in Split ) is a Croatian football goalkeeper .

Career

Vjekoslav Tomić started club football in the youth of RNK Split . He became a professional footballer in the summer of 2003 when he moved to Međimurje Čakovec . Here he played four seasons and completed 58 league games for his club during this time. For the 2007/08 season he moved to Hajduk Split . In his first season at Hajduk Split, he could not get past goalkeeper Vladimir Balić . This ended his active career at the end of the season. Goalkeeper Danijel Subašić was brought in for the new season . This beat Tomić in the fight for the place of the goalkeeper, so that Tomić was only used in 10 games in his entire three seasons at Split.

In the summer of 2011/12, he moved to Turkey to join the Süper Lig promoted Kardemir Karabükspor and immediately became a regular goalkeeper. After he had been active for the clubs Sheriff Tiraspol , FK Xəzər Lənkəran and FC Koper in succession from the summer of 2013 , he returned to Turkey after three years with his move to the second division Şanlıurfaspor .
