Vladan Kujović (born August 23, 1978 in Niš ) is a Serbian football player .

Player career

Serbia and Belgium

Vladan Kujović started playing football in his Serbian homeland, but moved to Belgium at the age of 19. At Eendracht Aalst , he played in his last two seasons as a regular goalkeeper in the 1st division before he moved to the Dutch honor division club Roda Kerkrade , as Aalst had to be re-established and start over in the 3rd division after the club was insolvent.

Roda Kerkrade / Levante UD

In the five years from 2002 to 2007 he was always the first choice for the Dutch. In his last season with Roda, 2006/2007, he was the goalkeeper with the fewest goals conceded after Heurelho Gomes from champions PSV Eindhoven . In the summer of 2007 he ventured into the Spanish Primera División to UD Levante , where he should act as a second goalkeeper after the departure of José Francisco Molina and Pablo Cavallero . However, since the first goalkeeper, Marco Storari , who was loaned from AC Milan , has left the club due to outstanding salary payments, Vladan Kujović was able to take over his place in the Levantine goal.

return

After Levante's relegation, almost the entire squad was reorganized and Vladan Kujović had to leave the club. In the summer of 2008 he signed a one-year contract with the then Belgian second division club Lierse SK . After initially being the goalkeeper in Lier for two years, he was only used six times in the first half of the 2010/11 season. He dissolved his contract in January 2011 and a few days later joined the Dutch first division club Willem II from Tilburg .

Kujović has a Belgian passport in addition to his Serbian passport.
