Marco Storari (born January 7, 1977 in Pisa ) is an Italian soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Storari played for FC Messina , Ancona Calcio , SSC Napoli , AC Perugia and Montevarchi Calcio Aquila in 1902 . From the winter break of the 2006/07 season he was under contract with AC Milan . There he had a contract until 2010. In the summer of 2007 he was loaned to UD Levante , but left the club after six months to hire the then bottom of the Serie A table , Cagliari Calcio . The Spaniards had previously been unable to pay the players' salaries.

In the summer of 2008 Storari was awarded to Fiorentina . In 2009 he played again for AC Milan for one season . In June 2010, Juventus signed Turin Storari as a long-term replacement for the injured Gianluigi Buffon . He ousted Alexander Manninger from his position as second goalkeeper and stood between the posts until Buffon recovered.

After five years as Buffon's deputy, Storari moved to Serie A relegated Cagliari Calcio in July 2015 for free . With Cagliari he became champions of Serie B and thus managed to get promoted back to Serie A.

In January 2017 Storari moved to AC Milan .
