Vladas Mačys
Vladas Mačys (born September 5, 1867 in Kazliškiai , Wolost Antanava , now Kazlų Rūda municipality ; † February 12, 1936 in Kaunas ) was a Lithuanian lawyer, civil litigator, VDU professor .
Life
In 1889 Mačys graduated from the University of Moscow in Russia with a law degree . From 1890 he was a candidate for a judge and then worked as a judge in the court in Jelgava , Latvia . From 1918 to 1922, he headed the Kaunas District Court as court president . From 1923 to 1934 he taught civil procedure and civil law at the Lietuvos universitetas and from 1930 at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas . From 1923 he was a professor.
