Vladimir Dašić ( Cyrillic : Владимир Дашић, born May 13, 1988 in Titograd , Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin basketball player . He plays both the power forward and the small forward position .
career
Vladimir Dašić began his career in the youth of Budućnost Podgorica . At the age of 16 he made his debut in the first team. With Budućnost he won the Montenegrin Cup three times (2007, 2008, 2009) and the championship (2006/07, 2007/08, 2008/09). In the summer of 2009 Dašić moved to the Spanish club Real Madrid . In February 2010 he was loaned to Gran Canaria 2014 until the end of the season in order to collect match practice, but after only five games he was released for disciplinary reasons. His contract with Real Madrid was also not renewed in the summer of 2010. In October 2010 he was signed by Virtus Roma . In December 2011, the contract was terminated for disciplinary reasons. Shortly thereafter, Dašić signed with the Slovenian club KK Union Olimpija .
National team
Vladimir Dašić won the U18 European Championship with Serbia and Montenegro in 2005. He currently plays for the Montenegrin national team .
