Club career

After he had scored three goals in a junior game for Sokol Bělá pod Bezdězem against Autoškoda Mladá Boleslav , he was poached by the opponent. After a short time in the junior division, Lauda played from 1973 for Mladá Boleslav's senior team in the Národní fotbalová liga , which was then the third-highest division in Czechoslovakia .

At the age of 22, the quick attacker moved to the first division club Slavia Prague . Lauda scored 21 goals in 120 games in five seasons. In early 1983, the striker moved to league competitor Sigma Olmütz , who could not hold the class in the 1982/83 season. With 22 goals in the 1983/84 season, Lauda contributed a large part to the immediate resurgence. From 1986 to 1988 Lauda let his career end with the Cypriot club AEL Limassol .
