The Vosskuhlbach is about two kilometers long flowing water in the Bochum district of Stiepel in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is a southwest and right tributary of the Lottenbach .

course
The Vosskuhlbach rises in the Hankelbeck corridor north of Kemnader Straße at an altitude of 165 m above sea level. NHN .
He first flows in almost a westerly direction to a wood strip through the corridor in the Surken , then passes under the Surkenstraße (K 15), such as running after one hundred meters south and parallel to Voßkuhlstraße by a Auenwald and then, accompanied by a thick wood, in the corridor on the Vosskuhle through farmland to the northeast. He now takes up the Vosskuhlgraben on his left and then crosses under the Haarstrasse .
It then moves east-northeast through fields and meadows and finally flows into the Lottental at an altitude of around 96 m above sea level. NHN from the right into the Lottenbach approaching from the west .
The approximately 2.0 km long course of the Vosskuhlbach ends about 69 meters below its source, so it has a mean bed gradient of about 35 ‰.
Catchment area
The catchment area of the Vosskuhlbach is drained through it via the Lottenbach, Oelbach , Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
It borders
- in the south to the catchment area of the Ruhr
- in the southwest to that of the Ruhr tributary Nettelbecke and that of the Ranterdeller Bach , which flows into Knöselsbach
- and in the west to the catchment areas of the two Knöselsbach tributaries, Finkensiepen and Waßmers Siepen .

Renaturation
