Voldemārs Bērziņš (born December 3 jul. / 16th December 1905 greg. In Riga , † 5. April 2002 in Riverside ) was a Latvian football player and coach.
Career
Voldemārs Bērziņš played in his club career from 1927 to 1936 at the RFK Riga , with whom he was four times Latvian champion in the 1930s .
In May 1927 Bērziņš made his debut in the Latvian national team in an international match against Sweden . With the Latvian national selection he took part in the Baltic Cup eight times and won it four times with the team. In total, he completed 40 international matches for Latvia and was the player after Ēriks Pētersons , Jānis Lidmanis and Alberts Šeibelis with the most missions before the Second World War.
At least in 1946 Bērziņš coached FC Gundelfingen in Germany.
