Volkan Yılmaz (born September 1, 1987 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Yılmaz arrived in Istanbul district of Bakirkoy on the world and later moved with his family to the northern Turkish port city of Samsun . Here he started with club football in the youth of Ceditılıcaspor and then went to the youth of Samsunspor . In 2004 he received a professional contract, but continued to play in the reserve team apart from two competitive appearances. He spent the second half of the 2005/06 season on loan at Akçaabat Sebatspor , but was only on the bench.

In 2006 he moved to the second division İstanbulspor and played for this club for the next three years. He then played for various teams in the lower Turkish professional leagues.

In the summer of 2011, his move to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor was announced. In January 2013, Yılmaz moved to the Süper Lig to Sanica Boru Elazığspor . He left this club for the third division MKE Ankaragücü during the 2013/14 winter break .

National team

Yılmaz played in the Turkish U-19 youth national teams.
