Volker Büdts

Volker Büdts (born July 11, 1972 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German film and theater actor .

Life

Volker Büdts completed his Abitur in 1991 at the Stiftisches Humanist Gymnasium in Mönchengladbach , did his community service and then began studying speech therapy at the University of Cologne . After completing his intermediate diploma, he switched to acting and began training as an actor in 1994 at the Keller Drama School in Cologne . In 1998 he completed his acting training with the stage entrance examination and has since worked as a freelance actor for film, television and theater.

During his acting training he already played roles in The Misanthrope and Leonce and Lena . This was later followed by theater roles in The Heart of a Boxer at the Comedia Theater in Cologne (2001) and in Death of a Salesman at the Theater im Bauturm in Cologne (2003). In 2004 he played at the Comedy Bochum under the direction of Jochen Schroeder in the comedy Love on First Trick . In 2006 he played with the Rose-Theegarten-Ensemble in Cologne in Die heilige Johanna der Schlachthöfe .

With Markus Maria Profitlich and Roland Riebeling he had a continuous role at SAT1 in the comedy series Mensch Markus and 3einViertel , as well as several appearances in the SAT1 comedy series Weibsbilder . He also went on tour with Profitlich in 2005 with a Best-of-Mensch-Markus program.

In 2005 he played the villain Hagen von Tronje in Siegfried , a parody of the Nibelungen saga by Sven Unterwaldt and Tom Gerhardt . During the filming, he met Daniela Wutte and married her. The couple has two sons (* 2008, * 2012) and lives in Cologne.
