Von Eden is a German-speaking Berlin indie pop band with folk elements, which was founded in summer 2013 during the shooting of the film " Feuchtgebiete " from musicians friends Christoph Letkowski , Ilker Aydın, Matthias Preisinger, Nicolai Ziel and Philipp Rohmer.

The song Land in Sight , known from Charlotte Roche's novel , which was part of the soundtrack , made Von Eden famous very quickly. Since Aydın left, the band has been working with four people. The singles Sommer ist , Gezeiten , The Remains of My Life , At Least Forever , Golden Times and My End were released between August 2015 and the beginning of 2017 , which are included on the debut album We Are Here , which was released on August 11, 2017 by Motor Music . The music video you created for the song Gezeiten was shot in the Wadden Sea and on Föhr .

In the music videos of the band Von Eden, which always included a cinematic narrative action, well-known actors played with, u. a. Jürgen Vogel , Peri Baumeister , Kida Khodr Ramadan , Alice Dwyer , Sabin Tambrea , Tom Wlaschiha and Matthias Weidenhöfer .

The debut album Wir sind hier is the result of a crowdfunding campaign that allowed the band to count on the support of their fans and finance the production. In August 2017 the album was “Album of the Week” on the radio program Bremen Eins and was presented as “CD Tip of the Week” on SR 3 Saarlandwelle . At the end of August 2017, the debut album Wir sind hier was presented on WDR 4 and classified as a “very worth hearing” debut with “handmade music in the best singer-songwriter tradition”.

In September / October 2017 Von Eden toured Germany with the album and performed in Hanover, Leipzig, Munich, Saarbrücken, Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg.
