Vytautas Antanas Matulevičius

Vytautas Antanas Matulevičius (born July 31, 1952 in Šilavotas , Prienai district ) is a Lithuanian TV journalist and politician.

Life

After graduating from the 22nd Vilnius Middle School in 1970 , he completed his studies in journalism at the Faculty of History of the Vilniaus universitetas in 1975 and then studied in the aspirantur at the Department of Culture at the Academy of Social Sciences . In 1989 he received his doctorate on the subject of "Visuomenės gyvenimo prieštaravimai ir meninis konfliktas".

He worked at " Komjaunimo tiesa ", "Molodioznaja peciat" ( youth press ) in Moscow, literary magazine "Družba" ( friendship ), and from 1989 at " Prawda " as a correspondent in Lithuania. From 1990 worked at Lietuvos televizija , presenter of the programs "Veidrodis" and "Krantas" (from 1997 at Baltijos TV ). In 1996 he was awarded the Vitas Lingys Prize and the Vincas Kudirka Prize.

In 2012 he was selected for Seimas with " Drąsos kelias " .

His brother is Algimantas Matulevičius , a politician.
