The Wörbke is an approx. 4 km long orographic right tributary of the Werre in the Lippe district in East Westphalia-Lippe , Germany .

course

The Wörbke rises in the Leistrup forest south of the Detmold district of Diestelbruch in a small spring pond called "Jackenborn". From its source, the stream initially flows westwards and takes its first inflow at KM 3.0, the Finkenbach coming from the southeast. Soon after this confluence, the stream turns in a south-westerly direction and, before it flows into the Werre in Remmighausen , takes on its second tributary at KM 1.7, the 1.6 km long Diestelbach flowing in from the north .

environment

The Wörbke is in a near-natural condition and belongs to water quality class II, which means that it is moderately polluted.
