The 1955/56 season was the fourth regular season of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The champions became the Winnipeg Warriors .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Regina / Brandon Regals were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Seattle Americans were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Winnipeg Warriors were added to the league as an expansion team.
