The WPT Mors (from Polish W óz p ogotowia t echnicznego ; literally in German technical emergency vehicle ) is a Polish light armored recovery vehicle based on the Russian MT-LB , which has been used in VR Poland since the 1970s by Huta Stalowa Wola in License was manufactured. It serves as a mobile workshop and has the task of repairing or towing broken armored vehicles weighing up to 14 tons (including BWP-1 ).

In the WPT Mors, the commander's seat is on the right-hand side of the vehicle, the driver sits on the left and has his own entry and exit hatch. A partially glazed dome with a night vision device and a 12.7 mm NSW machine gun from Soviet production is located above the commandant's seat . In the middle of the vehicle is the drive unit, a four-stroke diesel engine of the type JaMS-238W, which was produced under license in VR Poland. The longitudinally arranged to the vehicle axis diesel engine with direct injection has a capacity of 14,86 l and provides 240 hp (177 kW) at 2100 min -1 . A mechanical gear with reduction is installed (6 gears forwards, one reverse gear). The WPT Mors is equipped with the Soviet VHF radio station R-123 and the on- board intercom system R-124.
Like the MT-LB, the WPT Mors is amphibious and can reach speeds of 6 to 8 km / h in the water.
