Waiden is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Brunn an der Wild in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 41 building areas with 27,650 m² and 50 gardens on 33,320 m² in the cadastral community of Waiden , in 1989/1990 there were 48 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 113 and in 2009/2010 there were 51 buildings on 121 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 355 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 250 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 354 hectares and 251 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 325 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 258 hectares. The average soil climate of Waiden is 26.2 (as of 2010).
