St. Marein is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Brunn an der Wild in the Horn district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 38 building areas with 19,049 m² and 41 gardens on 47,139 m² in the cadastral community of St. Marein , in 1989/1990 there were 49 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 134 and in 2009/2010 there were 72 buildings on 149 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 145 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 4 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000, 146 hectares of agriculture were practiced and 6 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 135 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 10 hectares. The average soil climate of St. Marein is 35.4 (as of 2010).
