Story / style

Similar to the previous album, the style is somewhere between pop-influenced punk and indie rock . Frank Turner, who contributed to the album, provided elements of folk rock and folk punk . Influences were also seen from Joe Strummer ( The Clash ). Some pieces also have electronic sprinkles.

criticism

Kai Butterweck from Laut.de gave the album 4 out of 5 stars and wrote: "Even if the entire album has a continuous red thread and is perhaps the most homogeneous work of the band so far, every song still stands for itself, contradicting the sound like." Florian Schneider from Tonspion.de wrote that the Donots still had a lot of energy, "they just channel it differently". With their ninth album, the band woke up dogs that they would not have paid any attention to earlier. He gave 4 out of 6 stars.
