Waldreichs is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Groß-Siegharts in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 83 building areas with 29,635 m² and 87 gardens on 42,745 m² in the cadastral community of Waldreichs , in 1989/1990 there were 121 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 272 and in 2009/2010 there were 133 buildings on 291 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 136 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 57 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 124 hectares and 64 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 117 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 64 hectares. The average soil climate number of Waldreichs is 31.1 (as of 2010).
