The Walmeroder Bach , also called Streitbach , is a two and a half kilometers long right and southwest tributary of the Salzbach in the Westerwald .

The Walmeroder Bach rises at an altitude of 324 m above sea level. NN north of Wallmerod train station . It first flows in a north-easterly direction, makes a small arc and then runs jagged and strongly straightened south-east through a treeless meadow. Shortly before the northern edge of Wallmerod it changes its direction of flow to the east and passes to the left at the foot of the Gerhardsberg . It is now moving north-east through a wet meadow , accompanied by a wide border of wood and bushes. The stream now aligns its course more to the east, only to return to the previous direction about 300 m later. It now leaves the meadow landscape, enters the Strutwald and is fed on its left by the Bilkheimer Bach coming from the town of the same name from the west . The Walmeroder Bach now flows to the east, where shortly thereafter another inlet reaches it from the right and finally flows south of the Mühlberg and at an altitude of 214 m above sea level. The Walmeroder Bach is a strongly straightened meadow brook on its upper course. From the height of Wallmerod it changes more and more into a natural stream. Its catchment area extends over an area of almost 3 km²
