Walter Bertuch

Wilhelm Ernst Walter Bertuch (born January 13, 1889 in Cologne ; † April 10, 1973 there ) was a German painter, draftsman and graphic artist.

Life

Walter Bertuch grew up in Cologne and trained as a painter and graphic artist in Düsseldorf . He then worked in Düsseldorf and Cologne, and in the 1920s in Munich , where he sent his work to the local and other art exhibitions, which mainly consisted of landscapes and portraits.

In 1950 he married Anna Maria Locatelli in Großweil . Bertuch died in 1973 at the age of 84 in a Cologne hospital. He last lived in Cologne-Lindenthal .
