Walter Bini
Walter Bini SDB (born May 31, 1930 in São Paulo , Brazil ; † June 17, 1987 ) was a Roman Catholic religious and bishop of Lins .
Life
Walter Bini joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco in and received on 8 December 1959, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 14, 1984 Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Lins . He was ordained episcopal on May 24th of the same year by the Archbishop of São Paulo , Cardinal Paulo Evaristo Arns OFM . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Botucatu , Vicente Ângelo José Marchetti Zioni , and his predecessor Luiz Colussi , Bishop of Caçador . The inauguration in the diocese of Lins took place on June 29, 1984.
Walter Bini died in a car accident just three years later.
