Luiz Colussi

Luiz Colussi (born July 25, 1931 in Bento Gonçalves , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil , † December 4, 1996 in Curitiba ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Caçador .

Life

Luiz Colussi received on 1 December 1957 by Bishop Benedito Zorzi the priesthood for the Diocese of Caxias do Sul .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on January 3, 1978 titular bishop of Gor and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Londrina . The Archbishop of Londrina, Geraldo Fernandes Bijos CMF , donated him episcopal ordination on March 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Caxias do Sul, Benedito Zorzi, and the Bishop of Santa Maria , José Ivo Lorscheiter .

On 28 March 1980 Pope appointed him John Paul II. To Coadjutor Bishop of Lins . With the resignation of Pedro Paulo Koop on October 11 of the same year, he succeeded him as Bishop of Lins.

On December 5, 1983, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Caçador .
