Walter Haedicke

Walter Hädicke (born October 13, 1908 , † 1943 on the Eastern Front ) was a German football player .

Career

Hädicke initially belonged to Hallescher FC Wacker , for whom he played as a defensive player in the Gauliga Mitte , one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Empire , and in the end won the Gaume Championship. With this success he was represented with his team at the finals of the German championship . In the final round, which was held in four groups of four teams each, he played all six Group D games . He made his debut on April 8, 1934 on the Cricketer sports field , the venue of the FuCC Cricket-Viktoria 1897 Magdeburg , in the 2-0 defeat against 1. FC Nürnberg . As the bottom of the group, he and his team were eliminated from the competition, as only the group winners made it to the semifinals.

For the 1934/35 season he switched to league competitor 1. SV Jena , he played for this until the end of the 1939/40 season and won the Gaume Championship in his first two seasons, as well as at the end of his last season. For 1. SV Jena, too, he initially played all six final rounds of the German Championship in Group D and left the competition with his team as the bottom of the group. In the subsequent finals he played the first two and the last two games in Group C ; with the third place achieved, the semifinals were again missed. Because of the 1940s Gaume championship title, he came again in the final round of the German championship used; in Group 2 , which was finished last, he also enters all six games and remained in his total of 22 finals without scoring. In the competition for the Tschammerpokal , the cup competition for club teams, introduced in 1935 , he played a total of three cup games for 1. SV Jena. His debut on September 22, 1935 at Eintracht Braunschweig ended in the second final round with a clear 7-0 defeat. He played his last two cup games on August 28, 1938 in the 1: 2 first round defeat against Hertha BSC and on August 20, 1939 in the 3: 4 first round defeat at 1. SC Göttingen 05 .
