Walter Iffland (born June 14, 1856 in Piotrowo , Schrimm district , † 1899 in Wiesbaden ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Iffland attended grammar school in Schrimm . After graduating from high school, he first studied law at the University of Geneva . Michaelis In 1874 he moved to the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University . In the summer semester of 1874 he became a chestnut in the Corps Marcomannia Breslau . His precise knowledge of the native province of Poznan , in particular his thorough understanding of the agricultural conditions there, soon made him a highly valued member of the commission. In accordance with his wishes, he was appointed district administrator in the Posen-West district in 1896 . The Ikrcynki manor, inherited from his father, was also in the circle. Iffland was a passionate hunter. He fell ill with severe depression . In November 1899 he was in Wiesbaden for a cure. Iffland died unmarried and childless.
