Adelio Pasqualotto

Adelio Pasqualotto CSI (born April 26, 1950 in Novoledo di Villaverla , Italy) is an Italian religious and apostolic vicar of Napo .

Life

In 1966 Adelio Pasqualotto entered the novitiate of the Order of the Josephinians of St. Leonardo Murialdo and made Perpetual Profession on October 13, 1973 . He received the sacrament of ordination on March 11, 1978.

After working in the vocation ministry of the Order and in pastoral care, he went to Mexico in 1991. Here he was pastor in various parishes until 2012 . The pastoral work was interrupted in 2009 by one year of in-depth studies at the Theological Institute in Viterbo . In 2013 he went to the Vicariate Apostolic Vicariate of San Miguel de Sucumbíos in Ecuador as provicary.

On December 12, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Vicar Apostolic of Napo and Titular Bishop of Abthugni . The Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador, Archbishop Giacomo Guido Ottonello , donated him episcopal consecration on March 7 of the following year. Co- consecrators were his two predecessors in Napo, Paolo Mietto CSI and Celmo Lazzari CSI
