Walter Weitmann
Walter Weitmann (born December 20, 1926 in Deizisau , † January 16, 2007 in Stuttgart ) was a German entrepreneur.
Career
In 1951 he was represented for the first time with a lottery booth at the Cannstatter Volksfest . From 1958 to 2005 he was the landlord there. After separating from the Stuttgarter Hofbräu brewery in 1999, he was represented by the Fürstenberg brewery .
Weitmann was President of the Federal Association of Showmen and Market Merchants for 18 years . From 1980 to 1984 he was a member of the Stuttgart municipal council for the CDU .
In 1997 Weitmann published the CD Die Zwei von Deizisau together with Gotthilf Fischer .
The last years of his life were marked by quarrels and quarrels with his contractual partners and his family, which resulted in his financial ruin.
