Walther Otremba
Walther Otremba (born September 23, 1951 in Ahrensburg ) is a former German political official ( CDU ). From September 2006 to March 2011, he was a civil servant state secretary in various federal ministries and thus a political official.
Life
education
Otremba is the son of Erich Otremba . He first attended the Stormarn School in Ahrensburg and then passed the Abitur in 1971 at the Hansagymnasium Cologne . From 1971 to 1977 he studied economics at the University of Cologne and graduated on November 14, 1977 with a degree in economics . On July 3, 1980 he was promoted to Dr. rer. pole. PhD . He then worked between 1980 and 1983 as a research assistant for the Monopolies Commission .
Work in federal agencies
In 1983 he became a consultant in the policy department of the Federal Ministry of Finance . State Secretary
