Wang Xinyu ( Chinese  王欣瑜 , born September 26, 2001 in Shenzhen ) is a Chinese tennis player .

Career

On December 3, 2017, she won the Australian Open Asia Pacific Wildcard Playoffs, which earned her a wildcard for the main draw of the Australian Open 2018 . She won the final against Abigail Tere-Apisah 4: 6, 7: 5, 6: 4. On January 27, 2018, she won the junior title in doubles at the Australian Open , alongside Liang En-shuo . They defeated Violet Apisah / Lulu Sun 7: 6 4 , 4: 6 and [10: 5]. On July 15, 2018, she won the junior doubles at the Wimbledon Championships together with Wang Xiyu . She also reached the semifinals in the individual competition , where she lost to Iga Świątek in straight sets.
