Ware is a city in England with around 18,000 inhabitants. The city is located in the county of Hertfordshire east of the administrative center Hertford around 40 kilometers north of London on the Lea . The Ward Stanstead Abbotts with the villages of Easneye and Hunsdon north of Hoddesdon are also included.

The twin town in Germany is Wülfrath .

Basketball is of sporting relevance , where the city was involved in building up the Worthing Thunder as well as the Essex Leopards in the 1990s .
