The water cave in the Poleva Valley ( Romanian Peștera cu apă din Valea Polevii ) is a protected area in nature and landscape protection of IUCN Category IV . It is located on the area of the Coronini municipality , in the Caraș-Severin district , in Romania .

The water cave in the Poleva Valley extends over an area of 3.2 hectares in the south of the Banat and is part of the Iron Gate Nature Park . It is 4.5 km from the village of Gârlişte , which is part of the Coronini municipality . Of the total length of 397 meters, 250 meters are accessible. The cave is traversed by a stream and is home to a large population of bats , which has resulted in larger guano deposits in some places . In the accessible area of the cave, various stalactite formations such as sinter basins , flow facets , stalactites and stalagmites alternate.
