The Weggraben is a right tributary of the Holzgraben in the Central Franconian districts of Ansbach and Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The moat arises in the Gunzenhausen - Wassertrüdingen wind farm between Obermögersheim in the southwest and Stetten in the northeast at an altitude of 482  m above sea level. NN . The stream crosses a wide open landscape and flows after a run of around one kilometer at an altitude of 455  m above sea level. NN west of Nordstetten and Weilerau from the left into the Holzgraben.
