List of soft stones in Dresden

Several soft- stone stones have been preserved in Dresden . They served to demarcate the cityscape and thus formed the city court boundary . The Weichbildsteine ​​are under monument protection. In the Saxon state capital, numbered soft picture stones were set by the city of Dresden from 1501. According to Brunner, there were around 80 soft-walled stones in Dresden and around 20 in Altendresden , which, however, led to conflicts with the neighboring villages due to the unauthorized action of the Dresden Council: With the order of the elector of August 18, 1550, the soft-walled boundary of Dresden was redefined, the marking due to soft-walled stones (some of the already erected had to be moved, others re-erected) lasted until 1554, until the border was fixed.
